Panama, April 29, 2026. This morning, at the Sheraton Hotel, the official press conference for the launch of the Vet Evolution Panama 2026 Congress was held, which will take place from August 12 to 14 at the Atlapa Convention Center.
The event, endorsed by the Ibero-American Federation of Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FIAVAC) and the Panamanian Small Animal Veterinary Medical Association (AMVEPE), will bring together for the first time in the country veterinarians of large and small species, specialists in non-conventional companion animals, students, academics, and leaders of the veterinary industry.
Vet Evolution Panama 2026 will integrate 3 simultaneous congresses, establishing itself as the largest scientific and professional gathering in the sector in the region:
- 1st AMVEPE Congress and 22nd FIAVAC Congress
- 8th Latin American Veterinary Cardiology Congress “CardioEvolution”
- 3rd APVE & WEVA Intermediate Congress
In addition to a high-level academic program with national and international speakers, the congress will feature more than 50 veterinary industry stands, financing areas, a food zone, and a Veterinary Expo aimed at sector professionals.

Dr. Luis Alberto De León, president of the congress, highlighted that:

The official opening will take place on August 12 at Teatro La Huaca, while the academic sessions and the Veterinary Expo will be held from August 12 to 14 at Atlapa. The closing ceremony is scheduled for August 13.
